Sawyer Park Boat Launch – Intersection of Neenah & East Oak Street
This 10 acre boat launch is located at the intersection of Neenah and East Oak Street. Facilities include a six lane ramp, restroom facility with showers, two fish cleaning stations, Dockmaster building, lit paved parking lot, area for transient docking (two hour limit), benches, picnic tables, and two grills. The pier face is a local fishing spot and is easily accessible for people with mobility difficulties wishing to fish. There is also an enclosed shelter located here that can be reserved for your next event. View directions.
Sunset Park Launching Ramp – 747 North 3rd Avenue
This launching ramp is located at the end of Florida Street in Sunset Park. The facility includes two launch ramps and lighted parking lot, as well as a small dock to assist with launching and trailering. There are no transient docking facilities at this area. View directions.
Seasonal Dock Passes
Daily launch passes may be purchased at Sawyer Park Boat Launch or Sunset Boat Launch. There is a credit/debit payment kiosk located at Sawyer Park Boat Launch for your convenience. The cost for a daily (one time only) pass is $8.00. Seasonal passes can be purchased at the Park & Recreation Department (835 North 14th Avenue). If you are a City resident, the fee for a seasonal pass is $50.00, and the fee for a non-resident launch pass is $80.00. After you have purchased a seasonal launch pass you can launch at either Sawyer Park Boat Launch or Sunset Boat Launch.
Transient Docking
Two hour transient docking is permitted at piers located at Sawyer Park Boat Launch and Graham Park.
Moorings
The City of Sturgeon Bay controls two special anchorage areas located in the Bay of Sturgeon Bay. Yearly permits are required. For information, contact the Park and Recreation Department.
Seasonal Marina
A 21 slip seasonal marina is located by Stone Harbor on the east side of the Michigan Street Bridge. Power and water hook ups and public restrooms are available. Four hour transient docking is available at four slips in the marina (outside of #6, outside #7, outside #10, outside #11) and is available on a first come first served basis. The other slips in the marina are designated for seasonal slip holders No overnight docking is allowed on the transient slips. For information call 920-746-2912 or visit our marina page.
